Casakiwi enjoys a dominant position with splendid views over the Tigullio coastline, sheltered from the noise and crowds of tourists in a quiet oasis that is easy to reach in only a few minutes from the Lavagna motorway exit.

A big garden full of flowers surrounds the house, a relaxing corner of beauty, harmony and wellbeing.

Casakiwi is only 10 minutes away from the beaches of the Riviera, where there are both private beach establishments and free public beaches offering showers and other facilities.

History

In 2006, after 5 years of dedication and hard work, a dream came true with the opening of what is now one of northern Italy’s most exclusive accommodations.

A rustic farmhouse that had been abandoned for more than 30 years was completely renovated, changing everything except for a beautiful kiwi plant more than forty years old.

Kiwi: our name was written in our destiny.

For all the years it took to work on the old farmhouse we puzzled over the choice of name for our bed & breakfast.

But like a charm, our doubts were all dispelled the day we set foot on the land.

The name is a reference to our fascination with New Zealand and to the plant that we see every day.

We stayed at bed & breakfast establishments all over the world, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to New Zealand, at the time when accommodations of this type where not well-known in Italy, gaining experience in how to operate a successful B&B.

We look forward to offering you an enthusiastic welcome and a professional reception, in the hope that when you go home you will take good memories back with you.
